Last day, the temperature was more comfortable, but still it has been sunny and warm. This day was fully scheduled with exploring the city, visit the must-see spots and dive in the old crafts, archeological foundings and character of Bulgaria. We were amazed by all those colourful houses, streets, typical café's and restaurants. How a city like this is still so underrated, but even as pretty as Rome, Barcelona, Valencia or Paris, however in his own way. It's because of the wedding of my cousin that we finally came here, but I wouldn't have missed to visit this place.

In the afternoon, we walked up to the old village, where some elderly people worked on old crafts like weaving, pottery and ceramics. It was really nice to have a view inside the forner lives of Bulgarian citizens, and to get to know what the buildings, villages and streets have looked like before.

I do really love authenticity, if it's in people, places or countries. When you feel the vibe of where you are, have a look at positive souls and are able to join the feeling, I'm always overwhelmed by a lot of gratitude, and that I can experience this. I'm now in a situation that my mental obstacles are not blocking me anymore or distract me from joy.

We drank some soda, a (non-alcoholic) cocktail, and went back to the old theatre, that unfortunatly was closed, because of a concert that evening. I was a bit dissappointed, because I was looking forward to this theatre from the start of our trip. However, I wasn't negative about it, while we could sit on the side, have a look inside the theatre, while we were drinking something cool. Then, we walked back to our appartment, refreshed ourselves and went over to the neighbourhood of Kapana to have a fancy dinner.

If you go to Plovdiv, this neighbourhood is really worth visiting! Here you'll have dinner in one of those magical, fancy and characteristic, hip places!

Our last full day... How fast the time is passing by, is always draining me, and next week I already have to go back to my current job. I feel like I'm truly living some kind of life here that I want to achieve in the future: traveling, making time shots to work on my business and in the mean time being able to switch off my phone, spending time with loved ones and exploring the surroundings. I'm really grateful that I have the discipline to make this work, and that I stick to my routine, and the tasks that I have to do.

However, I also feel that I have more structure and the time for proper connections with my business partners, making reels, and getting information from new team members, when I'm at home. It's the stability of my own space, I have it all in one place and not with me hopping from one place to another. I do want to travel more, but I guess that I want to explore with times in between that I'm at home, in the Netherlands, having that foundation, finding a good structure and setting up the automated systems to travel and come back to share my experience. And this, over and over again.

To see the perspective of what I want to achieve, and to know that I'm capable of working online, while traveling, is a massive game changer.

Yesterday, me and my dad got back on the road for a drive to our last stop, that will be Sofia. We came across the Vitosha National park and made two stops there. The first one was next to the Rope Bridge. We crossed the bridge and walked a little along the lake, through the forest, before we came back and got back in our car. Besides the bridge, there was nothing really special, but I love the overall balance between nature and people. This makes me feel really connected with myself, the locals, and the culture.

As a second part of our afternoon we took the difficult and dangerous road, climbed all the way up through the forest to the spring of the Boyana waterfalls. For me it was easy to choose the difficult path, because I'm that kind of person who wants to challenge herself, and who knows that the more effort she puts in, the more it makes her sweat, the more relieving the result and the place we she's going to be. My dad preferred to choose the easy road, but I already walked along the other way, so I didn't let him make any decision.

In the end, the result truly was rewarding! I could stand underneath the waterfall, see Sofia from a viewpoint, felt grateful that I'm about to experience this all together with my dad, and be proud of the fact that we took the dangerous, but most rewarding way up to the waterfall.

Today is our last day in Bulgaria and we will dive into the capital city of the country, which will be full with all authentic and highlights of Sofia.
