Legacy is Energy & The power of intentional branding

Gepubliceerd op 14 september 2025 om 23:33

As a last part of the first day of the event there were two people coming on stage with a vibe, an energy, a heart of gold, and a massive share of gratitude and love, which I've never felt as far from a single person as from them. Their story, their help and support for others, while building up a family, a home, a place to feel safe, was so amazing that I couldn't look and listen without tears in my eyes. It ended the day with so much love that it's even undescribable to give words to.

Legacy is Energy, it's about them

The legacy you build is not something that's turning around numbers; it's all about the energy you share with the right people. But before you can share that energy, it has to start to spark within you. That's where the foundation lies. Your belief, your energy, your intention, and your vision. Those things all have to be clear, and in the end will shape your philosophy.

Really, it's not about you yourself, or us, it's about everyone else, and be honest with yourself when you share something: 'What actually makes me feel good?' Fill those people with your spirit, your belief in them, even before they believe in themselves. You need to learn how to lead with other people's growth, attention, changing mindsets, perspectives, making an impact, and fulfillment. It's so important that you show others how to lead, take consistent action, always show up, pay attention to the newest people, feel them, welcome them, and celebrate them. And know you're not a leader to only be serious, but also have fun together, don't wait to grow your team until you're 6A, start when your team kicks off, and the most important: SEE EVERYONE.

When you work on yourself, your confidence, and your self-belief, you'll share that in the way you show up, communicate, and be present. Others see the change in you, the growth, what makes them want to grow too.

Reaching and achieving goals is something that has to come from within, starting with that self-belief, the way you reflect on your past, and how to step up for yourself in the present time to become the person you want to be in the future. Show responsibility, credibility, and make your team feel ready to blossom.

Every name

Every face

Every life matters

It's up to you to show others that they have a choice: to grow together or do it all alone. Create the feeling in others that they'll miss something, a part of the puzzle that needs to be completed in their life, which you have to fulfill. Create a team, create your dream, and take the chance to change others' lives.

Know also that every connection has a new story, a new vision. See that before they see it themselves, and nurture that fresh energy, because you know already that from where you've come from, they are there now, and are ready to change their lives completely.

Change your perspective every time. Look forward, know who you want to help, who you want to grow within themselves, and how to nurture them.

Know your voice, your perspective, your vision, believe where you're going, and the negative noise, the inner critic will slow down.

And then, when you're becoming a leader, set boundaries, let your team go after their answers, let questions go unanswered for 24 hours, and let them go after it themselves. But know that not every person is the same, so treat them differently, with leadership, love, and care.

It's not about time, because the faster your team makes progress, it doesn't mean per se that the way they treat themselves to get there is the best way to go. Be patient, have patience with them, let your team grow in their own time and pace, and trust that they, and even more people, will come to you.

Keep showing up, challenge yourself, show others the hard way by doing it first, be a leader, do the uncomfortable things, show the result, but most importantly:

Be You

Where the first day of the event ends, a new day, a new road, and a time map full of speakers with skills to share, golden nuggets to give to everyone in the room, and creating that energy that everyone shares by being here. Every single person that speaks on stage is so solid, so strong in his or her own story, and you definitely feel that the thing they're talking about is their strongest point, their main skill in business, which made me realise that it's totally okay to not master everything. Find the right skill that will make your business grow, and become a master in that.

The power of intentional branding

Intentional branding all starts with you, from within. Know that you are the creator yourself, the creator of your life, and your business. But we always set our own limiting beliefs. Often, from expectations we have, things that happened to us in the past, or people who commented on our way of living, or the way we were. We need, as an independent entrepreneur, to build trust and belonging. In the end, those things are key elements to speed up the duplication.

Let's break it down in some simple steps:

K I S S

Keep ISimple Sweetie

The first thing we focus on is the consistency of what we are doing. Get to know your audience, and build the trust within yourself that you know who follows you, and you already know quite a lot about the 'right' people, because they are a reflection of you. So pick one look, take everything out of it to spread the message that 100% aligns with you, and stick to it.

And of course, when your business grows, when you grow, your audience grows and changes. Don't make it too complicated, stay who you are, but if you want to change something, take it step by step.

Some important steps and insights:

  • Ads, forms, and e-mail: Know the language you're going to use, the tone of voice, the humor, and the kind of culture in which you speak to people. Mirror their way of communicating to make them feel at home within the conversation with you.
  • Social media: show your authentic self, who you are, step up for yourself, and don't hold yourself back because of anxiety, but become that version of yourself that feels aligned with who you are right now.
  • Graphical Unity: Look at your community (in our case, Unfold Your Freedom) and know that's all about creating bonds with each other, strengthening others in their skills and capabilities to see each other grow in life and within their businesses. It´s in the sense of belonging and creating unity.
  • Webclass: Just get your face in there. If you feel like it's too much for you to record a whole webclass in the beginning stages for yourself, you may choose to use your uplines' but get your face in there by, for example, sharing just one or two clips which you can insert in the webinar of your upline. Your niche, your people want to see you, because they like who you are, and your upline is amazing, but attracts a certain other type of people.
  • Chat groups: make groups for your team to connect, help, support, and make them feel like they really belong to something, and create that emotion in them that they are worthy, that you do care about them, and want the best for them to see them grow from within. This also counts for events and inviting your team to come with you, go together, or create that teambuilding already on the forefront and get something together or have a dress code so you all know you're part of a specific team.
  • Live webinars: to attract more people, make people feel heard and seen, go live on Zoom or Google Meet and show the Discovery Training, do a little walk through, take someone (or more people) from your team with you in the call and let them also explain a part of the training followed in the end by a Q&A in which it's not only you, but also your team who may answer some questions.
  • Niche: Dare to narrow down on your niche, choose the right people based on who you are, what you value, your core values, and the typical characteristics that you have. It's not about excluding people, it's about creating a space that feels like home.

And it's not even strange that it feels the way it's always felt like the place we belong to. Like home
